Welcome to First Christian Church of San Marcos, Texas…at least, the online version.
There's really no adequate way to describe the qualities of a church by virtue of its website. Sure, there's a lot of useful information here, but to feel the acceptance, warmth, and love that flows through First Christian Church, you've simply got to experience it first-hand.
Many congregations speak of how warm and welcoming they are, but in all my years of ministry I've never had the privilege of visiting or being the pastor of a church quite like this one - our members truly live out the caring hospitality that Jesus Christ embodied and taught.
Plus, we simply have a lot of fun together! Laughter, hugs, and wide smiles abound here. Maybe that's because it's such a great feeling to belong to a group of folks - more like a family, really - who believes that God loves and accepts us unconditionally, and calls us to pass along that same love to everyone we encounter.
I hope you'll personally be our guest in worship or in one of our many other activities, to see for yourself that at First Christian Church, everyone belongs!
Peace,
David Green
