During October and November we are asking members, attendees,
and visitors to give feedback as we attempt to determine how
healthy we are as a body of Christ.
So what is church “health”?
"Church health recognizes that local fellowships of believers are best instruments for the Kingdom of God when the six purposes of the church mentioned in Acts 2:42-47 are intentional, active, and balanced: worship, evangelism, discipleship, ministry, fellowship, and prayer." – Thom Rainer
Characteristics of a Healthy Church:
• Disciples growing in spiritual maturity
• A Sunday Celebration (public worship) that glorifies God and
is winsome and welcoming to outsiders
• People are reached for Christ regularly
• Life-changing service to others throughout the church,
the community, and beyond
• A united and joyous fellowship of believers
• A deep burden for prayer
