A lot of information was shared this past Sunday. We have so many wonderful things going on this Advent season! In case you were not here to get an insert from the bulletin or you got one but can't find it:), here is a run-down of what is happening:

Sunday, November 27 Christmas Pageant practice begins! To prepare for the children's pageant, we will be having several rehearsals. If you are a college student or younger, we will have practice during children's church on Sunday. The rest of the practice schedule is as follows:
*Sunday, December 3 - rehearse during children's church
*Friday, December 9 - Parent Night Out, dress rehearsal

Sunday, November 27-Sunday, December 11: The "Giving Tree" will be up and decorated with stockings, brown Santas, and angels. We are blessed to have the opportunity to help so many others in need this Christmas. Here are 3 ways for you to participate:
*Hays County Women's Center stockings: Select a "stocking" ornament off of our giving tree and sign it out. Take one of the crocheted stockings from under the tree, stuff it, tag it with the          "stocking" ornament, and return it to church. They will be delivered to the HCWC on December 12, so please return them by December 11.
*Mendez angel tree gifts: Select an "angel ornament off of our giving tree and sign it out. Purchase two of the gifts listed, wrap them, tag them with the "angel" ornament, and return them to church by December 11.
*Brown Santa: Select a "brown Santa" ornament off of our giving tree and sign it out. Purchase a gift for a child of any age, tag it with the "brown Santa" ornament, and return the unwrapped gift to church. Brown Santa will be visiting us after worship on December 11 to collect our donations.

Sunday, November 27 PK - 5th grade field trip: - Our PK - 5th graders will be going shopping for some of our giving tree gifts. If you would like to make a donation and let us do the shopping for you, please see Teri Stapp.

Have a blessed week and remember, S_NDAY SCHOOL and CH_RCH aren't the same without U!
